With new signings Haaland and Alvarez, Manchester City's potential line-up for next season has been revealed.

The Premier League Champions of 2021/2022 will be hoping to build on another successful season. At the start of the new season, they will be trying to dominate European football in all corners, as they have made some key acquisitions that will propel them forward next season.Manchester City has signed Erling Haaland, a 21-year-old Norwegian striker, and Julian Alvarez, a 22-year-old Argentine striker.

With their quick attacking style and ball speed, these two teenage strikers will try to dominate the league next season.

Given his astonishing goalscoring record for Borussia Dortmund, Erling Haaland, who appears to be the bigger of the two signings, might end up being one of the most important signings in the Premier League at the end of the season.

Julian Alvarez, who is expected to step in as a direct replacement for Gabriel Jesus, has a remarkable goal-scoring record with River Plate.

Manchester City Goalkeeper Could Make Return To Football League Club This Summer

Following a temporary move from Manchester City in January, James Trafford, a 19-year-old rising goalkeeper who only earned his England U21s debut against Kosovo this week following a maiden call-up, spent the second part of the 2021/22 season on loan at the University of Bolton Stadium. In 22 games for Bolton during an excellent stint in League One, the teenager preserved seven clean sheets, and his exploits in goal were crucial to Ian Evatt's side's blooming conclusion to the season.

The Wanderers finished eighth in League One, after going undefeated since mid-March and winning their final four games of the season, including a 4-2 victory over Fleetwood Town.

Many expect the Lancashire club, who were formerly in the Premier League, to push for promotion again next season, and journalist Alan Nixon thinks that the Wanderers may be able to call on James Trafford, with Manchester City perhaps willing to allow another loan move.During an interview in April, the 19-year-old refused to speak on his future and was one of two Manchester City loanee goalkeepers who shone in the English third level last season.

"To be honest, I haven't had any real discussions," the teenager admitted. "I'm going to leave it to (Manchester) City, Xavi Mancisidor (goalkeeping coach), and my agent, and we'll revisit things at the end of the season."

Following his delightful and successful loan term at the University of Bolton Stadium, journalist Alan Nixon now reports that the Premier League Champions may enable James Trafford to return to the University of Bolton Stadium next season.

Trafford is yet to make his first-team debut for Pep Guardiola, though he has been an unused substitute for the Premier League Champions on six occasions.

Manchester City will almost probably attempt to secure the futures of some of their other promising academy players, such as James McAtee, who is garnering interest from Championship clubs Swansea City and Huddersfield Town.
