Kirin Cup is a four men friendly tournament organized towards the preparation of 2022 world cup which kick off November in Qatar. This tournament consist of four countries such as Chile, Japan, Ghana and Tunisia. The first game kick off was Ghana vs Japan which ended 4-1 against Ghana and Tunisia also wins Chile . Tunisia and Japan qualified to Finals whilst Ghana and Chile are to compete for the third place which kicked off 14th June 6:15 am.
This match took place this morning and during the first halve , the Black stars of Ghana plays very well against their opponent Chile. They got a lot of chances but they couldn't conceed any goal, their opponent Chile also got chances but also couldn't conceed any goal as well. The first halve ended goalless with the Black stars of Ghana having 3 yellow cards and their opponent Chile also had 2 yellow cards. During the second halve of the game, a lot of substitution went on where Black stars Striker Felix Afena Gyan was substited by Jordan Ayew . At the 64th minutes of play in the second halve, a Ghanaian defender was involved in a serious clash which lead him to a straight red card after the referee has consulted the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) which leads to the Black stars of Ghana 10 players against 11 players of Chile. This in most cases disturb Games and prevent the the affected teams from winning. The Black stars of Ghana begins playing defensive Game until the 78th minutes of which another red card came in as Mubarak Wakaso was in an argument with the referee. This now lead the Black stars of Ghana 9 players against 11 players of Chile. The Black stars couldn't loose hope the continue play until the last whistle came from the referee which leads to the end of the match with goalless draw. Penalty shoot out began and the Chiles player kicked first by scoring the first goal of the Game, and Jordan Ayew came to equalize , a nice save from the Ghanaian goalkeeper Manaf Nurudeen , Mohamed Kudus scored the second goal for the Black stars and another incredible save by the Ghanaian goalkeeper Manaf Nurudeen again, another goal from Fatawu of the Black stars again and finally a player from the side of Chile shoot over the bar which leads the Black stars of Ghana to win with 3 goals to 1 again Chile. The Black stars of Ghana are now the third in the 2022 Kirin cup.
The goalkeeper Manaf Nurudeen did an amazing job for the Black stars.
