Marcelo has affirmed that his takeoff from Real Madrid after over 15 years at the club won't flag his retirement as he intends to continue playing.
The Brazilian left-back played 546 games for Real following his January 2007 appearance, winning the Champions League on five events notwithstanding six La Liga titles.
Marcelo as of late turned 34 and had seen his game time fundamentally decline beginning around 2019 because of a mix of injury inconvenience and falling behind Ferland Mendy in the food chain.
His long support of the club was respected with an exceptional service at the Bernabeu on Monday evening, during which Marcelo alluded to himself as a 'Madridista'.
And yet, the safeguard
"I will not resign, not currently," he said. "I believe I can in any case play. Confronting Real Madrid won't be an issue. I'm a major Madridista but at the same time I'm a major proficient."
Marcelo recently alluded to a private cabin job at Real from now on, pronouncing in May following affirmation of his flight as a player: "I know it's not my last day here."
Back in December, he was tipped to get back to Brazil this late spring to proceed with his playing vocation with previous side Fluminense in home city Rio de Janeiro. Marcelo began with the club's childhood positions at 13 years old and proceeded to show up prior to moving to Europe.
His longtime friend cristiano Ronaldo also posted on his Instagram congratulating the Brazilian and edging him greatness on his new adventure
