The Bulgarian, who made 108 appearances for Manchester United during his four years there, spoke to the official Manchester United website about who he feels is just as cool as him.

All Manchester United fans are aware of ex-striker Dimitar Berbatov's cool demeanor.

Berbatov explained: "There are a lot of cool footballers out there who know how to play the game the right way.

Berba's sneaky bit of brilliance from his time at AS Monaco. (Photo) "I prefer guys who can pass the ball, not necessarily finish and score goals, but who can pass the ball like [Andres] Iniesta, Xavi, or Kevin De Bruyne is doing right now.

!Having a good understanding of how to play football. Players that are complete footballers.

"Then there are the striker possibilities at the present, which include Harry Kane, who is incredible and can score goals at will." I'm not even putting [Cristiano] Ronaldo and [Lionel] Messi in that conversation because they're on a different level!"

Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United is named to the PFA Premier League Team of the Year.

However, the 41-year-old didn't simply speak about modern-day footballers.

"Back in the day, The Phenomenon, the other Ronaldo, was phenomenal in what he was doing," the ex-Manchester United, Fulham, and Monaco player remarked.

"As a result, everyone can be unique in their own manner. That is why I tell young people that you can be inspired by your idols and even try to imitate them in your own manner, but you must develop your own individuality, recognize who you are, and stick to it. This is quite significant."

In a separate interview with United's official magazine, Inside United, Berbatov highlighted who he thought was nearly as cool as him outside of football.

"I have a lot of Muhammad Ali material at home, including photographs and quotes; I like him because he stood behind everything he said."

"Even when he was losing, he made it look classy and entertaining by admitting his mistakes. You can't be like that.

"Ali just knew how to handle stuff," says boxing legend Muhammed Ali. (Photo) The way he spoke, the quotes he used, it was all pure amusement, like it should be. But then he went back and confirmed everything.

"I still watch parts of the Rumble in the Jungle fight in which he defeated [George] Foreman. After that, they developed a film that showed you how he used strategy to stay on the ropes for eight rounds with Foreman, to get pummeled like a sack, but you stick to your plan.

"You can see how Foreman puffs and gruffs as he hits you, and then he's on the floor in three seamless motions, with style. This is how Ali went about it. This is the only way to do it."

But the seven-time Bulgarian Footballer of the Year doesn't simply like athletes; he concluded his interview by noting, "Outside of football, I appreciate Frank Sinatra, for obvious reasons." Sinatra was such a cool guy. He has that aura when he walks on stage with the cigar, whisky, and every time he wears the suit... the drinking, the old school.

"With that suit, he was simply oozing cool, he was terrific."
