Liverpool are said to be in a bidding war with Real Madrid for Jude Bellingham's services. Both European powerhouses are interested in signing the Borussia Dortmund star, but many more teams could join the race next summer.

Liverpool and Real Madrid are ready to compete for the Englishman, according to Football365. Both clubs are looking to strengthen their midfields, and the former Birmingham City player appears to be a good fit.

According to Cadena Sar, Los Blancos will be unable to sign the Englishman this summer due to a lack of room in their roster. According to Football365, the Spanish giants could make a €90 million deal for Bellingham while allowing him to stay at Dortmund for another season.

Jordan Henderson, Liverpool's captain, recently remarked about the young midfielder and lavished admiration on him. According to SPORTBIBLE, he said: "I don't enjoy praising athletes too much, especially when they're so young, because everyone else seems to do it so rapidly - but I've been blown away. I enjoy the way he plays, but the most important thing to me is his personality. I admire the manner in which he conducts himself."

Henderson continued, " "I only have positive things to say about him. He's a tremendous young man and athlete, and I'm confident that as he grows older and matures, he'll continue to improve. Even now, when I see him play, I see him playing with such maturity. For him, the sky is truly the limit."

Liverpool has been urged to sign Jude Bellingham, a Real Madrid target.

Former Liverpool defender Glen Johnson has spoken out in support of midfielder Jude Bellingham, urging the club to recruit him.

He said that the Dortmund star is the Reds' closest match to a player like club hero Steven Gerrard, telling Compare.bet: "Whether he's a replacement or not, if Jude Bellingham becomes available, I'd definitely take him. He'll undoubtedly be world-class, he looks the part, and he'll be able to do it all. If that's a possibility, you should consider signing him."

Johnson continued, " "I'd definitely compare him to Gerrard. He's physically bigger, but he knows his way around the field, can tackle, and is a good passer. He also has that engine."

Bellingham joined Dortmund for a rumoured £22 million sum in 2020, and he has been a key member of the team ever since. The Real Madrid-linked midfielder has made 90 appearances for the Bundesliga club in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and assisting on 18 occasions.
