BAYERN MUNICH is apparently open to selling Marcel Sabitzer for a low price this summer.
Bayern Munich are rumored to have transfer listed Sabitzer, who joined the Bundesliga giants from RB Leipzig just one season ago.
Marcel Sabitzer could be sold by Bayern Munich this summer, according to reports.
According to Bild, the German club will let him depart if a team matches the £13 million they paid to sign him last summer.
During the recent season, Sabitzer only had one goal and one assist in 30 appearances.
Hasan Salihamidzic, Bayern's sports director, and Marco Neppe, the club's technical director, have now declared the Austrian international surplus to requirements.
Sabitzer's £8.6 million annual pay is another reason for the club's desire to offload the midfielder this summer.
Prior to joining Bayern, both Arsenal and Tottenham were extensively linked with a deal for Sabitzer.
After a disappointing first season at the Allianz, speculations linking Sabitzer to North London surfaced again in April.
Antonio Conte and Tottenham Hotspur are set to bolster their midfield after negotiating a £25 million fee for Brighton's Yves Bissouma, but the team isn't done yet.
In the meanwhile, the Gunners are aiming to strengthen their midfield ahead of the upcoming season.
The £13 million Bayern wants for Sabitzer is a bargain, despite the player's aversion to leaving the club.
Roger Wittmann, his counselor, told Bild over the weekend that he wants to stay in Munich beyond the summer.
Bayern, on the other hand, have been linked with RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer, who might be brought in to replace Sabitzer.
Sabitzer allegedly conducted crisis discussions with Bayern bosses last month after learning of their interest in his former club team-mate and national team teammate, according to Bild.
The club, on the other hand, appears to be willing to split ways with the midfielder, who has three years left on his deal.
