An Accra Circuit Court has remanded into Police guardianship a 25-year-old water provider for supposedly debasing and impregnating a 13-year-old legal counselor's girl in Accra.
Michael Takyi claims he had intercourse with the casualty on two events, however he was not answerable for the pregnancy.
Accused of two counts of contamination, Takyi, also known as Yaw, has argued not liable. The case has been dismissed to June 28.
Takyi was remanded in light of the fact that he didn't have the foggiest idea about his home location and he let the court know that he dwelled in an uncompleted structure at Oyarifa.
Declining the charged individual's bail, the court said it likewise thought to be the gravity of the offense when seen as blameworthy.

Indicting, Colleague Director of Police (ASP) Maxwell Oppong, said the complainant was a legal counselor living in Accra and the dad of casualty.
ASP Oppong said the denounced used to remain with the complainant and his family as a houseboy between the year 2020 to 2022.
As per the indictment, on June 2, this year, the complainant, and his significant other distinguished change in the person in question and immediately hurried her to a clinic just to be informed that the casualty was 26 weeks, three days pregnant.
It said when the casualty was examined, she said among October and November 2021, Takyi effectively had intercourse with her on two events.
It said a report was made at the Police headquarters and a clinical structure was given to the complainant to send the casualty to a clinic for additional assessment and treatment.
The arraignment said Takyi was captured and during cross examination in his explanation, he conceded having engaged in sexual relations with the casualty on two events "as it were."
