Pogba will'sign a contract' with his new club 'in July,' after leaving Man United on a free transfer.

Paul Pogba is allegedly about to join Juventus on a free transfer from Manchester United for the second time in his career.

The French midfielder joined the Italian club after failing to agree on a new contract with Manchester United in 2012.

Pogba returned to Old Trafford four years and 178 appearances later for a world-record £89 million cost. The 29-year-old won the Europa League and League Cup in his first season back, but he was only able to contribute to the Red Devils in fits and starts, despite continuously shining on the international scene for France.

Pogba's contract expired after a poor 2021/22 season, making him available for free transfer this summer.

And, according to many sources, he will return to Juventus.

"Juventus are nearing on final details for Paul Pogba transfer," Fabrizio Romano wrote on Twitter on Tuesday. A contract for €8 million net per season including add-ons is almost finalized. It's only a matter of finishing touches. Pogba is expected to sign a contract with Juventus soon."

"Paul Pogba will sign his deal with Juventus at the beginning of July, the expectation into the club is now apparent," Romano stated on Wednesday. The last details are being worked out, but a verbal agreement has been reached for his return. Pogba rejected down Man City offers a month ago."

Pogba will be hoping to build on his previous success at Juventus. The Frenchman won four Serie A titles, two Italian Cups, and helped the Old Lady reach the Champions League final in 14/15 during his four years in Turin.

Pogba stated earlier this month that he wanted to "feel loved" at his next club.

"I just want the best for myself," he explained. I'm thinking, putting everything together, taking my time, and just seeking for the best; I want to play football, always be myself, and love what I do.

"I need to like what I do or I won't be able to perform properly." I don't want to dwell on the negative. We may lose games and trophies, but you must be pleased and enjoy yourself — that is what I am looking for.

"Everyone wants to feel loved, and everyone needs to feel valued in their soul."
