Mr Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, an official wannabe of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), has encouraged writers to expand their expert abilities to conquer arising difficulties in the reporting field.
He saw that customary media, which included TV, radio and papers, had been enduring an onslaught by new media through web-based entertainment and online commitment.
Thus experts expected to expertly update themselves to be more capable and effective to contend well with the new media, which were bit by bit assuming control over the customary media.
Mr Dwumfour offered the guidance at a meeting with individuals from the Bono Regional Branch of the Association at Abesim close to Sunyani to request their votes in the approaching public and territorial chiefs' political race, booked for Friday, June 24 this year.
He asked columnists to be prepared to assemble their expert abilities to stay pertinent in the public eye continually.
