The billboard featured four hands clasped together, each with a band or bracelet made in the LGBTQ+ group's colors. "When all Ghanaians are treated equally, no matter who they are, no matter who they love, it is genuine freedom," read a clear message on the billboard.
On his Facebook page, MP for Ningo Prampram, a member of the group that sponsored the Bill on the Promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values, reported that the billboard had been removed.
"If we band together and demand the reforms we want, we can achieve results from the authorities (NDC or NPP)." True power is in the hands of the people. Fall 'frat' is written on the billboard. Mr George wrote, "Power to our cultural autonomy."
