Florentino Perez, the president of REAL MADRID, has refused to rule out another trade for Kylian Mbappe.

The Spaniard, though, took a shot at the PSG striker after he decided to extend his contract with the French champions.

Mbappe was expected to join Real this summer after his contract with PSG expired.

However, the 23-year-old agreed to a contract extension through 2025, which included more control over the club's operations.

Perez stated emphatically in an interview with El Chiringuito that the hunt for Mbappe was far from done.

"He did not deceive me," the 75-year-old stated. Mbappe has repeatedly stated that his desire is to play for Real Madrid.

But, due to political and economic pressures, everything altered in 15 days. His vision had to shift.

"I've never claimed Mbappe and Real Madrid are done for good. That is something I never stated. Many things can change in three years."

Mbappe was offered a three-year deal for £507 million by PSG.

He is now the world's highest-paid player, earning £1.6 million per week, or about £80 million per year.

Mbappe, 23, is reportedly said to have received a staggering £250 million signing on fee, after previously earning £463,000 each week.

Perez threw a salvo at the attacker, despite the fact that he plainly wants to see Mbappe in the renowned white shirt.

"I don't want this Mbappe," he added. The last one isn't the Kylian we were hoping for. "I was looking for the genuine article."

It's not the first time Perez has shown displeasure at missing out on Mbappe - at least for the time being.

After Real Madrid beat Liverpool to win the Champions League, doubts about Mbappe, who turned down a move to the Spanish capital to stay with PSG, were raised.

"Mbappe doesn't exist, Real Madrid does," Perez told Sport. "It's a party for Real Madrid and their players, who have been European champions."

"I'm calm and happy," he told Movistar+ in a separate interview. "We've all worked hard all season to get to a situation like the one we're in."

Real Madrid will always strive to have the finest players, but Mbappe has already been forgotten today."
