THE ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE FIXTURES FOR 2022/23 SEASON ARE OUT
Man City will be playing West Ham as their first match of the PL for the 2022/23 season on Friday August 5. Everton vs Chelsea, Man Utd vs Brighton and Crystal Palace vs Arsenal also playing on the same weekend. The season will come to a halt after November 12/13 weekend for the world cup in Qatar and restart on Boxing Day.
The 2022/23 PL Season will commence with Crystal Palace going head to head against Arsenal on Friday, 5th August. Manchester City will set about their title defense at West Ham on Sunday, 7th August.
Everton’s Saturday Night Footy encounter with Chelsea on August 6 and Manchester United’s amazing Sunday game with Brighton- which will mark the beginning of the Erik ten Hag era at the Old Trafford.
Fulham won the Championship last season and will start their Premier League season at home to Liverpool on August 6, while freshly promoted Bournemouth host Aston Villa. Nottingham Forest who had been absent from the Premier League due to relegation since 1999 have returned to the Premier league to battle for the league. They would visit Newcastle at home.
The Premier League Champions for the 2021/22 season will meet their title rivals Liverpool at Anfield on October 15 then Manchester City would host Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium on April 1.
If their title race goes until the last moment once again, City’s last but one game of the season at the Etihad versus Chelsea could be very crucial, before their last game against Brentford on May 28. Liverpool finish their battle at Southampton.
There are no games planned between Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve but, after playing on the closing day of 2022, teams will return to full action on January 2, with Chelsea vs Manchester City starting off the first game of 2023.
