NPP hopefuls resist downpours to document structures to challenge

A few wannabes for different public chief places of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) resisted the weighty downpours in Accra yesterday to document their designations at the party's base camp.
Amidst the downpours, market ladies sold gear of the NPP while allies sang and moved to music to introduce their contender to record their assignments.
Every one of the 52 applicants who got designation structures documented to challenge in the July 15 to 17, 2022 decisions which will be held at the Accra Stadium.
Chairmanship
For the place of director, the main female, Gifty Ama Asantewaa Ayeh, prevalently known as Daavi Ama, should go head to head rivalry from Prof. Christopher A. Akumfi; Stephen Ayesu Ntim, Stephen Asamoah Boateng; Sammy Crabbe; Akwasi Osei Adjei; Joseph Ayikoi Otoo and George Kwabena Abankwah-Yeboah.
For the place of public bad habit director, 11 people documented to challenge.
They are Edmond Oppong Peprah, Alhaji Masawudu Osman; McJewells J. Annan, Rita Asobayire; Michael Omari Wadie; Kwaku Nkansah and Kinston Akomeng Kissi.
The rest are Danquah Smith; Ismeal Yahuza; Nuworsu Ken-Wuud and Alfred T. Boye.
General Secretary
The officeholder General Secretary, John Boadu, will go head to head with five different applicants, including Justin Kodua Frimpong; Musah Iddrisu Superior; Frederick Opare Ansah; Charles O. Bissue and Ramseyer Agyemang-Prempeh.
Those challenging the public financier position incorporate E. Mary Posch-Oduro; Collins Nuntwiri Nuamah; Dr Charles Dwamena and Dr I. I. Yussif Tedem.
Seven people, specifically Daniel Nii Kwartey Titus Glover; Eric Amoako Twum; Bright Essilfie Kumi; Der Kwame Afriyie; Henry Nana Boakye; Seth Adu-Adjei and Nana Owusu Fordjour will slug it out for the place of public coordinator.
The occupant ladies coordinator, Kate Gyamfua, would need to battle with Hajia Sawudatu Saeed; Ellen Ama Daaku and Akosua Serwaa Bonsu while Prince Kamal Gumah; Salam Mustapha; Abanga Yakubu Fusani; Michael Osei Boateng and Karikari Klinsman Mensah would be competing for the place of National Youth Organizer.
Setting
The NPP opened its designations for different public situations on Monday, June 13 and shut the assignments yesterday.
Asabee
Mr Asamoah Boateng said he accepted the party required a situational pioneer to take care of the delusion of issues confronting it, especially at the surveying and electorate levels.
"I'm introducing myself to serve the troopers of the party and to break the eight we have been discussing," he added.
He likewise said he had an arrangement to address the inward matters of the party to confront their fundamental rivals the National Democratic Congress.
John Boadu
Mr Boadu was hopeful of being reappointed as General Secretary to pursue joining the NPP.
"We have worked to bring the party this far so it would be hard as far as we're concerned to be important for any plan to bring disunity," he made sense of.
Musah Superior
Subsequent to recording his structures, Mr Iddrisu expressed that his vision was to fortify the party's organization and make the party base camp politically dynamic by making individuals from the party vital to its organization.
Mr Iddrisu further added that he looked to establish an unmistakable action plan which would create a stage for need of evaluation to set up an answer plan for the party.
Kumi
A competitor for the National Organizer position, Bright Essilfie Kumi, in a meeting, said he was centered around building an impressive party to assist with breaking the eight.
"Break the eight is only a trademark, it isn't sufficient so we want to take care of the party's concerns for the eight to break itself", he said.
