Christian Eriksen is wanted by Manchester United as a senior figure in the locker room
Tottenham are preparing a massive bid for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez, with Antonio Conte reportedly 'passionate' about re-signing his former star. According to Alfredo Pedulla, an Italian journalist.
On the Sportitalia television program, he said: "Lautaro Martinez is desperate to stay at Inter. But Tottenham, who are working on Kane's contract extension, are expected to make a significant offer for Lautaro, ranging from €90 million to €100 million, according to reports.
"Then he has the legal right to examine and decide whether or not to stay. Tottenham, on the other hand, will make a try. Lautaro's determination is unwavering, and there is no tolerance for error.
"However, Tottenham will try with their budget because Conte is a huge fan of him, and Lautaro and Inter will make the final decision."
Inter do not want to lose their prolific striker, and any approaches from Spurs or elsewhere are expected to be rejected.

Managers in the English Premier League are presently focused on developing their squads ahead of the premier league season, which is expected to begin on August 6th.
Manchester City and Liverpool, their Merseyside rivals, have already completed their first signings of the season. Earling Haaland has been confirmed by the Citizens, while Benfica's Nunez Darwin has been signed by the Reds.
As a result, elite teams such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Arsenal are anticipated to announce fresh signings in the coming days.
Arsenal, in particular, are in desperate need of a seasoned striker to head their final offensive third following the January departures of Aubamayeng and Alexandra Laccatte, who chose to resign for his previous club Lyon. It means that Arteta's attack will be led solely by Eddie Nketiah next season.
Mikel Arteta has put a string of players from top European leagues on his radar in order to complete that section of his starting lineup next season in order to get back to their competitive level.
Some of the names connected with a move to the North London club are Gianluca Scammaca, Gabriel Jesus, Raphinha, and his Brazilian counterpart Richarlison.
However, the Gunners are not alone in their pursuit of Raphinha, Gabriel, and Richarlison, with rumours claiming that Chelsea, Barcelona, and Tottenham are all big fans of the Brazilian trio, who are looking for a new challenge next season.
And, according to sources, Arsenal could be dealt a major setback in their pursuit of Raphinha, according to the latest allegations from Football London, who claim that the Brazilian is apparently on the verge of signing a new contract.
