Gabon, United States of America
Ms Virginia Palmer, the US Ambassador, and Mr Sayid Abeloko, the Gabonese Ambassador, both emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between their respective nations and Ghana.
Ms Palmer cited a number of Ghana-US cooperation, including military ties, and promised to encourage more US corporations to invest in Ghana.
Libya
Mr Hasan, the Libyan Ambassador, emphasized the importance of Ghana-Libya relations, saying the two nations were linked by decades of friendship and similar political ideas, particularly in reference to the African Union's foundation (AU).
He claimed that he had worked with Ghana, Libya, and other nations to enhance the African Union and strengthen its structures in order to speed up the progress of African integration.
