PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sporting director Leonardo did not take kindly to losing fair and square by a score of 3-1 and 3-2 on aggregate after Real Madrid accomplished their first Remontada in their historic drive to the 2021/22 Champions League title.

Karim Benzema's rapid-fire hat-trick in the second half, which lifted the Merengues, was clearly too much for these two "businessmen." They allegedly had a tantrum and acted childishly, smashing objects, hurling a phone, and even threatening a Real Madrid employee.
The major motivator in all of this appears to be Al-Khelaifi, the PSG president who is facing corruption accusations for his part in "FIFAgate." He is also the ECA's chairperson.giving him tremendous clout in UEFA, on top of his clout as chairman of beIN, which gives him even more clout in Ligue 1. In both sport and politics, Al-Khelaifi is a powerful figure.
As a result, we shouldn't be shocked that he isn't facing any consequences for his threatening and violent behavior following his team's defeat to Real Madrid, according to MARCA. You'd expect someone who runs numerous strong organizations to be more decorous and, at the very least, not act like a ghoul, but who needs tact when you have procedures that absolve you of all responsibility?
PSG and Qatar have a firm grip on UEFA.
Leonardo has been punished in all of this, which is intriguing. His involvement in the affair was said to be limited, and most crucially, the inept sporting director has now left PSG. With the decision-making power he earned in his club-record contract, Kylian Mbappe has already pushed him out. So, how will Leonardo be able to fulfill his suspension?
And he was the only one who received a punishment.
This is how corruption appears. Al-Khelaifi acted in an exceedingly inappropriate manner, according to all sources, even those of impartial parties. Despite this, he will not suffer any penalties for his acts because he maintains significant positions, particularly in UEFA.
This is simply the latest example of Al-Khelaifi and PSG receiving preferential treatment from the UEFA monopoly and its president, Aleksander Ceferin, who appears to have a good working connection with the chairman of beIN.
PSG's monopolistic, unrestricted spending has prompted LaLiga president Javier Tebas to file a formal protest with UEFA, which will almost certainly go nowhere because he is complaining to UEFA. With the Lionel Messi deal, they were able to make a slew of acquisitions and grow their payroll to even greater heights, all without having to make any sells to offset the incoming transactions.
Now it's a joke. PSG is backed by Qatar, has won the World Cup, and now represents both French and European football. Another example of how they are above reproach is that they were able to grant Kylian Mbappe a world-record-breaking contract while also exerting political pressure.
PSG has already done a lot of damage to Ligue 1. They now seek to alter the UEFA Champions League's balance as far as possible in their favor. That is what Qatar needs to "show" the success of their sportswashing endeavor.

This may sound insignificant, but it is the latest domino in UEFA's route to giving over the spirit of elite football in Europe to a corrupt sportswashing project that paid its way into a World Cup that has cost at least 6,500 lives.
