UEFA's 'punishment' of PSG for the incident against Real Madrid is the latest illustration of a significant problem.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sporting director Leonardo did not take kindly to losing fair and square by a score of 3-1 and 3-2 on aggregate after Real Madrid accomplished their first Remontada of their illustrious journey to the 2021/22 Champions League title. These two "businessmen" were obviously unable to handle Karim Benzema's lightning-quick hat-trick to hoist the Merengues in the second half. According to reports, they misbehaved and had a fit, smashing things, hurling a phone, and even threatening a Real Madrid employee.

Al-Khelaifi, the PSG president who is charged with corruption for his involvement in "FIFAgate," was reportedly the key driving force behind all of this. In addition to the authority he already has as the chairman of beIN, which gives him further control over Ligue 1, he now serves as the chair of the ECA, giving him significant weight in UEFA. Football and politics are important to Al-Khelaifi.The lack of consequences for his threatening and aggressive actions following his team's defeat by Real Madrid, claims MARCA, shouldn't come as a surprise. Who needs tact when you have systems that absolve you of all responsibility? You would respect someone who serves as an executive for several large, powerful organizations if they had more decorum or at least didn't behave like a ghoul.

UEFA is completely within the clutches of PSG and Qatar. It's interesting that Leonardo received a penalty throughout this whole situation. The inept sporting director has reportedly played a tiny role in the affair, but more importantly, he is no longer employed by PSG. With the authority granted to him in his historic deal from the club, Kylian Mbappe has already pushed him aside. So how is Leonardo even supposed to serve this suspension?

And alone he received punishment. This is the corruption's face. Al-Khelaifi acted in a very wrong manner, according to all reports, even those from impartial parties. But he won't be held accountable for his acts because he holds influential positions, particularly at UEFA.

This is really just the most recent instance of Al-Khelaifi and PSG receiving special treatment from the UEFA monopoly and their president Aleksander Ceferin, who appears to get along well with the head of beIN.

Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, has officially complained to UEFA about PSG's monopolistic, unrestrained spending, but his complaint will undoubtedly be ignored because he is doing so. With the Lionel Messi contract, they are the organization that made it possible for PSG to bring in a plethora of new players and raise their payroll to even higher levels without having to make any sales to cover those incoming deals.

What is FFP, exactly?

Now, a joke Qatar funds PSG, which also has access to the World Cup, French football, and UEFA. Another illustration of their unquestionable character is the fact that they were able to exert such political pressure and grant Kylian Mbappe a deal that broke records.

Ligue 1 has already suffered a lot because to PSG. They now want to push the UEFA Champions League's scales as far in their favor as they can. That is what Qatar requires in order to "show" the success of their sportswashing operation.

This may seem like a minor issue, but it is the latest brick in UEFA's path to transferring the essence of top-flight European football to a dishonest sportswashing scheme that was allowed to enter a World Cup at a cost of at least 6,500 lives.
