Pop singer Shakira reportedly "mocked" Cristiano Ronaldo during a game, but he quickly made her regret it. In the 2011 Copa del Rey final against fierce rivals Barcelona, the Portuguese superstar started for Real Madrid.
Ronaldo had an opportunity to start the scoring with the score still 0-0 in extra time, but he pulled his shot wide.
Cameras then turned to the spectators and caught Shakira, who was at the time Gerard Pique's partner for the Blaugrana, giggling.
Ronaldo must have paid attention. Within five minutes, he had climbed above Adriano to score the game-winning goal.
As Ronaldo rolled away in excitement, Real Madrid's coaching staff leaped out of their seats.
