Ronaldo is "done" at Manchester United, and Mendes is eyeing a move to Roma to reconnect with Mourinho.
According to reports, Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Manchester United because he "does not feel part of Erik ten Hag's plans." He has also been linked to a move to Roma, where he may rejoin with Jose Mourinho.
Despite a disastrous season for the team as a whole, Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford last summer and was selected to the PFA Team of the Year after scoring 24 goals across all competitions.
However, there have been questions over his future at the club, and La Repubblica (via Daily Star) now asserts that the Portuguese star's career is "gone."
Ronaldo, who has won the Champions League five times, does not feel like he is "part of his ambitions," confirming many perceptions that he might not fit Ten Hag's system at Old Trafford.Roma is allegedly among the top alternatives that his agent Jorge Mendes has already begun "searching" for on behalf of his client.
Ronaldo would once more work with Mourinho at Stadio Olimpico; the two were teammates for three years at Real Madrid, where they won the Copa del Rey and La Liga.
Mendes is said to have a solid working connection with the Roma management because he has already brought in Rui Patricio and Sergio Oliveira.
