Chelsea's Possible Lineup For Next Season If They Sign Their Summer Transfer Targets
It's puzzling that Chelsea haven't signed a new player this summer considering Todd Boehly reportedly gave Thomas Tuchel a £200 million transfer budget.
However, this is how "The Blues" would line up under Tuchel if they are successful in signing the players that are strongly linked to them.
Edouard Mendy is anticipated to be the clear leader between the sticks, with Kepa likely to fall into the role of backup if he decides to stay.
Following Antonio Rudiger's departure, Thiago Silva will probably start alongside Kalidou Koulibaly and Jules Kounde as potential replacements in defense.
The 30-year-old defensive stalwart Koulibaly has recently been linked to a move away from Napoli, with Chelsea reportedly showing a keen interest.
Kounde is another option, and if Tuchel does manage to sign the Frenchman, it's anticipated that he will join Chelsea's starting lineup right away.
Next season, Ben Chilwell and Reece James will likely start as the primary wingbacks, and Kante may team up with Declan Rice in defensive midfield.
Rice is obviously worth more than £100 million, which may deter interested clubs, but if Chelsea decides to hold serious talks with the Hammers, a solution can still be achieved.
We chose Mason Mount and Ousmane Dembele to flank the German offensive trident of Kai Havertz (false nine) in the frontline.
At Barcelona, Dembele's current contract has expired, and a new agreement is unlikely to be reached. The Frenchman is rumored to be considering his choices, but moving to Stamford Bridge appears to be the most likely choice because it will allow him to reunite with Tuchel.

An Arsenal legend implores his old team to complete the signing of "one of England's best passers."
Paul Merson, a former Premier League midfielder, has pushed Arsenal to acquire James Ward-Prowse, the captain of Southampton. The 27-year-old led the Saints to a 15th-place finish last season, four points above the relegation zone, with ten Premier League goals.
West Ham and Manchester United have both been mentioned as potential destinations for him if he decides to leave his childhood club.
Ward-Prowse spent time with England during this month's disappointing international break, and should he decide to leave this summer, his club is sure to demand a high price for its top player.
Merson, a former Arsenal midfielder, thinks his former team should try to recruit the Southampton talisman even though they aren't in the running to sign Ward-Prowse.
James Ward-Prowse cannot be purchased by West Ham, according to Merson's Daily Star editorial. "Whoever signs him, in my opinion, made a terrific choice. He ranks among England's top ball passers in my opinion.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and him both possess an excellent range of passing, which allows them to "spray it over the pitch" in a way that few other English players can.
"I don't see why Arsenal aren't making every effort to try and take James Ward-Prowse from Southampton," he continued.
"Arsenal needs to acquire expertise, and they would do so by purchasing a seasoned England player who is familiar with the Premier League and would significantly improve their situation.
They are in desperate need of a player who can squirt the ball all around the field from the centre.
According to David Ornstein, Arsenal is also interested in signing Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez.
According to reports, the Argentine's agent rejected the Gunners' bid of €30 million.
Because Mikel Arteta wants greater defensive depth, Martinez is reportedly "enthusiastic" on the switch.
Arsenal would "keep pressing" to close a deal when their initial offer is turned down, Ornstein stated.
