However, this is how "The Blues" would line up under Tuchel if they are successful in signing the players that are strongly linked to them.
Edouard Mendy is anticipated to be the clear leader between the sticks, with Kepa likely to fall into the role of backup if he decides to stay.
Following Antonio Rudiger's departure, Thiago Silva will probably start alongside Kalidou Koulibaly and Jules Kounde as potential replacements in defense.
The 30-year-old defensive stalwart Koulibaly has recently been linked to a move away from Napoli, with Chelsea reportedly showing a keen interest.
Kounde is another option, and if Tuchel does manage to sign the Frenchman, it's anticipated that he will join Chelsea's starting lineup right away.
