ECG grants one month amnesty to power consumers to rectify problems before audit in July.
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has given all clients one month of acquittal to redress all abnormalities with their meters in front of an approaching review, everything being equal.
As per ECG, the period would has been booked to begin from June 7 through to July 6, 2022.
"We need to assist with decreasing business loses for the last time, clean the arrangement of any electrical lawless acts and to assist with working on the income of the organization" the power wholesaler added.
ECG, subsequently, approached clients who have not been getting bills, prepaid clients who don't buy power acknowledge, clients with broken meters, the people who have tempered their meters, and every one of those participated in any type of wrongdoing to eagerly take ownership of the one-month ban founded by the organization.
Once more, the power dispersion organization said that any client got taken part in illicitness after the one ban will be managed by the law.
Tending to the media in Takoradi, the Director of Customer Service of Electricity Company of Ghana, Abraham Anokye Abebrese, expressed that throughout the long term, the greatest most despicable aspect of ECG has been its misfortunes which militate against the feasibility of the organization.

"This is where clients use meters which are not caught in our framework and besides they don't pay for the power they use," he made sense of.
He showed that flawed meters and clients who temper with meters so they don't record the genuine power utilization or pay for the full use of power, likewise represent business misfortunes.
