Chairman of the Defense and Interior Committee of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong has referred to that even though college students of the Islamic Senior High School (SHS) passed their barriers at some point of their protest, they did now no longer should be handled as armed robbers through the Police.
Some college students took to the streets closing Monday to protest incessant knockdowns at the school’s street as a few reportedly peddled stones at Police employees deployed to repair calm.
The Police in response fired weapons and used tear fuel lines to address the group, main to over 20 college students being hospitalised after a few fainted.
Speaking to the media after main the Defense and Interior Committee of Parliament went to a number of the sufferers on Friday, Kennedy Agyapong condemned the Police over the techniques utilized in coping with the scholars.
