If wishes were horses, beggars would ride, I've heard it said. Consider what will happen if Ghana fields this team for the 2022 World Cup. That is most likely the same question that many Ghanaians are asking. Is it possible to get your hands on them? Yes! Is it difficult to get them all? Yes! Let's take a look at each one separately:
Stephan Ambrosus
He is a Ghanaian defender who plays for Hamburger SV in the Bundesliga. The 23-year-old colossus is known as "the giant" and resembles other players, such as Ghana's Jerome Boateng, who chose Germany over Ghana. Stephan's defense partnership will be fantastic whenever he is able to join the club.
Mohammed Salisu
Ghana has had his eye on the Southampton defender for some time. The superb defender has separated himself from the Black Stars and appears unconcerned for reasons that have yet to be completely revealed. If he is fit for the World Cup, he will join the ranks of Alexander Djiku and Amartey, who have consistently demonstrated their dedication to the team.
Tariq Lamptey
Tariq has apparently switched nationalities and will play for the Black Stars, the senior national soccer team, in September. The Brighton and Hove Albion defender demonstrated his desire by attending Ghana's AFCON qualifier against Madagascar in Cape Coast. His presence on the field will be extremely beneficial to the right-back position.
Antoine Semenyo
The Bristol City striker has already represented Ghana in Afcon qualifying. Semenyo possesses the strength and speed to take on defenders. He was unable to play in the second match due to an injury sustained in the Ghana-Madagascar match. He'll almost certainly make Coach Otto Addo's World Cup roster.
Inaki Williams
At the moment, Inaki and his brother, Nico, are in the country. He's rumored to be in town for talks about changing his nationality. While there are unsubstantiated rumors, Inaki Williams is likely to be delighted to play for Ghana. Inaki is a powerful attacker with excellent footwork. His attacking strength and talent are impressive, and he will be a valuable asset to Ghana.
Eddie Nketiah
The Arsenal striker has hinted at a future Ghana call-up. Nketiah had a fantastic season with the 'gunners' and saw plenty of action, especially towards the conclusion of the season. He is a fantastic player on all levels, and practically every team would like to have him on their roster.
Callum Hudson-Odoi
Due to injuries, the Chelsea star has been on the bench for some time. Last year, he paid a visit to Ghana and traveled to the presidential palace to meet President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. When he is able to join the club, the young winger will present the coach with a plethora of choices.
One of the things that these players have going for them is that they are all extremely young, and if they work together, they can play for a long time. The Ghana Football Association will have to increase their output by a factor of two.
