Done Deals: Ten Biggest transfers so far this summer
One of the biggest transfers so far this summer has probably been Aurelien Tchouameni's move from Monaco to Real Madrid, where the Frenchman signed a six-year, €80 million contract. The 22-year-old said he was interested in joining the Spanish team because of their impressive Champions League performance this season and turned down clubs like Paris Saint-Germain to make the transfer.
Liverpool made one of the most expensive deals this summer when they paid Benfica €75 million to sign Uruguayan international Darwin Nunez. As he gets ready to make his club debut in August, Nunez inked a six-year contract with the Premier League team till 2028.
This list includes Erling Haaland's transfer to Manchester City because we witnessed the Cityzens trigger his Borussia Dortmund release clause in order to sign him to a five-year, €75 million contract. This summer, Real Madrid signed German international Antonio Rudiger on a free transfer from Chelsea football club in another significant transfer deal.

By procuring Jürgen Klopp for £27 million, Liverpool has just demonstrated their mastery of the transfer market once more.
The fact that Liverpool made a tiny profit on Sadio Mané shows once again how strong Liverpool are in the market as he is on the verge of joining Bayern Munich. Sadio Mané is basically down to his final few days as a member of the Liverpool team. The Senegal forward's six-year tenure at Anfield came to an end on Friday as it was announced that Bayern Munich had agreed to pay Liverpool's asking price for him.
It was only a matter of time before Bayern and Liverpool came to an agreement on a transaction, according to long-held speculation that a deal was imminent. Robert Lewandowski, who wants to join Barcelona, will likely be replaced by Mané, who will sign a three-year deal with the German champions.
Mané's legacy as a Liverpool player has, of course, long since been established. With 120 goals, 48 assists, and 269 games across all competitions, not to mention winning every single trophy available to him while he was a member of the team, Mané will be remembered as one of the team's greatest forwards in club history.
In many ways, Jürgen Klopp's acquisition of Southampton in the summer of 2016 marked the official start of the Jürgen Klopp era. Mané is the epitome of a Klopp player: swift, powerful, dynamic, and skillful. His absence will be felt greatly when the 2022–23 season begins. However, it is also undeniable that Liverpool has benefited greatly from the signing of Mané. Mané has given Liverpool six years of flawless service; he is now 30 years old and is leaving the club, and Liverpool is earning a tiny profit on the £30 million they spent Southampton for him. That is excellent business, whichever way you look at it.
Additionally, it's important to keep in mind that Mané still has one year left on his contract and that Bayern might be trying to undercut Liverpool. Bayern will pay a guaranteed £28 million for him, and if bonuses are reached, that sum will increase to £35 million, yielding a profit of about $5 million.Michael Edwards and Julian Ward were smart businessmen.
Rival clubs' supporters criticized Liverpool for spending £85 million on Darwin Nez, but when one takes into account the money the club is receiving for Mané, the cost of Nunez drops to about £60 million or less, which is roughly in line with what any club can expect to pay for a promising striker in the modern era.
