Felix Afena Gyan, a striker for the Black Stars, is expected to make an impact at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
In the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] qualifiers at the Cape Coast Stadium, the AS Roma teenager scored his first goal in the Black Stars' 3-0 triumph over Madagascar.
Afena Gyan's agent, Oliver Arthur, was convinced that the 19-year-old would make a significant impact on the team during the global extravaganza.
"I believe it would be an opportunity for him to reveal who he is," he told Radio Gold in Accra.
"I always remind him that when you have the chance, show what you've got."
"I believe you can attest to the fact that he showed something in the Nigeria game."
"And I'm sure by November or December, he'll have made a lot more progress in his profession and will be able to do even more," he continued.
Afena Gyan will be a key member of coach Otto Addo's starting team in the Mundial in Qatar, barring any injuries.
Ghana, who will play Portugal on November 24 at Stadium 974 in Doha, will begin their campaign in Group H.
The Black Stars return to action four days later when they face South Korea at the Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan.
At Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah, Ghana will conclude their group stage campaign with a highly anticipated match against Uruguay.
