According to the player's former agent, Robert Lewandowski is unlikely to join Chelsea this summer due to his dread of playing in the Premier League.

In the current transfer window, the striker has made it known that he wants to leave the Bavarian club in order to pursue a fresh challenge in the closing years of his career. The 33-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona, though any potential deal is thought to be hampered by the Catalan club's financial problems at this time.

As a result, clubs such as PSG, Chelsea, and Manchester United have been made aware of the situation and are rumored to be interested in luring Lewandowski away from Barcelona in the coming weeks.

With Romelu Lukaku coming closer to a return to Inter Milan, Thomas Tuchel's team will be short on offensive options if the Poland international moves to England this summer.

According to Cezary Kucharski, Lewandowski's former agent, any potential move is unlikely because the striker is "afraid" of moving to the Premier League. Roberto Carlos, a Real Madrid icon, has stated why he would not be attending Marcelo's goodbye ceremony.

Last week, Marcelo was given a magnificent send-off at Real Madrid City.

"For me, Marcelo is the greatest left-back of all time," said Roberto Carlos, who was strangely absent. I've told him numerous times that I believe this. It's unfortunate that he's leaving Real Madrid, but his career isn't ended; he's moving on to the next stage of his career. He still has four or five years remaining on the clock. We at Real Madrid are grateful to him for the trophies he has won - 25 trophies, if I'm not mistaken - because exactly the same thing happened to me... and it happened quite easily.

I watched him develop over time. At Real Madrid, I basically grew up with him. He enlisted when he was 17 years old. I also decided not to attend his departure party since I knew I would cry. I've watched him grow up and see what he's accomplished. I'm grateful for his successful work and good fortune in life.

"Nowadays, there's always a debate about who's the best, Roberto Carlos or Marcelo. No, I don't have any quarrels with Marcelo; he's practically like a son to me. It's like if I'd won it all with Marcelo, seeing him triumph and make history with Real Madrid."
