The former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder is a free agent this summer after leaving Monaco, and a return to the Premier League is a possibility. Cesc Fabregas, a former Arsenal and Chelsea player, is a free agent after his contract with French club Monaco expired. After three and a half years at Monaco, the 35-year-old is now free to join for any team ahead of the new season. Despite battling injuries in recent years, the midfielder has won the Premier League twice, two FA Cups, a Spanish league title, the 2010 World Cup, and two European Championships, and has been capped 110 times for Spain.
When asked about his next move, Fabregas told So Foot last month, "I'm searching for a fresh start." My mind needs to start over somewhere else. To be honest, I've already received two or three phone calls in the last two weeks from some of my previous coaches, asking what I wanted to do and if I wanted to join them as a coach this summer.
"But this year has been so horrible that I won't be able to finish it." Not after establishing a career. I'd like to keep playing. I'm glad for my career, but it doesn't feel like it's come to an end. I'm open to anything; all I want is to have fun. It's not so much about the location as it is about my head.
Brentford
Christian Eriksen will most likely depart Brentford this summer.
The Bees swooped in January to grab free agent Christian Eriksen, and a move for Fabregas would follow a similar thought process.
The Spaniard would be a low-risk, no-fee addition who would fit into the club's style of play, adding the passing range, set-piece proficiency, and experience that Eriksen's impending departure would necessitate. London clubs will also have an advantage over Fabregas due to his experience living in the capital.
Everton
Everton are looking for a replacement for Donny van de Beek.
Frank Lampard's 13-year tenure at Chelsea ended in the summer of 2014, when Fabregas arrived as a de facto replacement in the attacking midfield position.
Lampard believed his squad required depth in that position, as indicated by the January signings of Dele Alli and Donny van de Beek, and Van de Beek's subsequent return to Manchester United may open up the possibility of a deal for Fabregas.
Fulham
Fulham manager Marco Silva is looking to bolster his squad ahead of their return to the Premier League.

Crystal Palace
Vieira and Fabregas were teammates in Arsenal's midfield.
Fabregas spent two seasons in the heart of Arsenal's midfield alongside Palace boss Patrick Vieira, and the Frenchman will no certainly be keeping one eye on his availability.
Another London-based club that may be interested in Fabregas is Crystal Palace. The departure of Conor Gallagher – who will return to Chelsea – this summer may prompt the Eagles to swoop for the Spaniard to add depth to their midfield options.
Newcastle
Newcastle manager Eddie Howe is looking for fresh players.
While Fabregas is unlikely to play a significant role for Eddie Howe's team next season.
