Barcelona president Joan Laporta is said to have given Raphinha a note reassuring him that he is still needed at the Camp Nou.
According to Diario Sport, the club's president has called the winger to inform him that they will try to sign him to a five-year contract during the summer transfer window.
After club members opted to permit the sale of merchandising and television rights, Laporta sought to show Raphinha that the Catalans do have the financial means to sign him.
Raphinha was also told that he and Robert Lewandowski will be added to Barca's attack in time for the 2022-23 season.
Despite interest from Premier League clubs, rumors of a probable transfer to Barcelona have recently died down.
Barcelona is said to have resumed talks with the Whites, who have reduced their asking price from €65 million to €50 million, according to Indeed Sport. Barca is aiming for a fee of around €40 million.
Raphinha has agreed to a five-year contract with Barcelona, although the club risks losing him to Arsenal because to Leeds' high transfer demand.
According to rumours, Barcelona could yet lose out to Arsenal in their chase of Leeds playmaker Raphinha.
The Catalan giants and the teenager's agent, former Barcelona player Deco, have reached an agreement.
Leeds, on the other hand, are still demanding a £47 million fee, which is now blocking talks.
"Raphinha deal," stated transfer guru Fabrizio Romano on social media. Barcelona and his agent Deco have been in full agreement on a five-year contract since February, but Leeds want €55 million and have no plans to lower their asking price.
"Barca must act quickly since Premier League clubs, notably Arsenal, have re-entered the contest - but no proposal has yet been lodged."
Raphinha has made 67 appearances for The Whites, scoring 17 goals and assisting 12 others while also making his Brazil debut.
Arsenal and Tottenham are both rumored to be interested in signing the striker.
Spurs are reported to be interested only if they are unable to clinch a deal for Everton's Richarlison.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have already signed Porto attacking midfielder Fabio Vieira.
They're also rumored to be close to completing a deal for Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus.
After their original £25 million proposal for Ajax centre-back Lisandro Martinez was rejected, Mikel Arteta is planning to make an improved offer.
Arsenal have agreed a new five-year contract with attacker Eddie Nketiah, in addition to fresh acquisitions.
The 22-year-last old's contract ended at the conclusion of last season, but his 10 goals in 27 games won him a new contract at the Emirates.
