Calvin Ramsay, a defender from Aberdeen, has joined Liverpool as the club's third acquisition of the summer transfer season.
The Reds paid a whopping £6.5 million for the teen right-back, who made 39 appearances for the club in two seasons at Pittodrie.
The Dons academy graduate has represented Scotland Under-21s three times and was named Scottish FWA Young Player of the Year last season.
"I'm just buzzing and it's a dream come true to be here," Ramsay, 18, said after joining the Anfield club.
"Playing for Aberdeen was a dream come true, and now to be at one of the largest, if not the biggest, clubs in the world is a huge achievement, and I'm excited to show the supporters what I've got."
"Hopefully, in pre-season, I can show everyone at the club, the staff, and the players what I've got, and then we'll see what happens from there," he says.
Ramsay joins 19-year-old attacker Fabio Carvalho and 22-year-old Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez in joining the FA Cup and Carabao Cup champions.
"There's been a lot of young players who have played," the Merseysiders' new No22 continued. "The likes of Trent [Alexander-Arnold] and Harvey [Elliott] as well, there's a lot more."

"Obviously, there's a road here - it's one of the reasons I chose it."
"It's not simply a big club; they give young players first-team opportunities."
"So there's no reason why I can't strive for a spot in the first-team squad if I can come in during pre-season and make an impression."
Sadio Mane is likely to join Bayern Munich on a three-year agreement, and Jurgen Klopp's side are preparing for his departure.
The Senegalese's departure is expected to follow that of teammate forward Divock Origi, who is set to leave the club at the end of his contract later this month.
