Calvin Ramsay, a safeguard from Aberdeen, has joined Liverpool as the club's third procurement of the late spring move season.

The Reds paid an astounding £6.5 million for the high schooler right-back, who showed up for the club in two seasons at Pittodrie.

The Dons foundation graduate has addressed Scotland Under-21s multiple times and was named Scottish FWA Young Player of the Year last season.

"I'm simply humming and it's a little glimpse of heaven to be here," Ramsay, 18, said in the wake of joining the Anfield club.

"Playing for Aberdeen was a little glimpse of heaven, and presently to be at one of the biggest, if not the greatest, clubs on the planet is a tremendous accomplishment, and I'm eager to show the allies what I have."

"Ideally, in pre-season, I can show everybody at the club, the staff, and the players what I have, and afterward we'll see what occurs from that point," he says.

Ramsay joins 19-year-old aggressor Fabio Carvalho and 22-year-old Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez in joining the FA Cup and Carabao Cup champions.

"There's been a great deal of youthful players who have played," the Merseysiders' new No22 proceeded. "Any semblance of Trent [Alexander-Arnold] and Harvey [Elliott] too, there's significantly more."

"Clearly, there's a street here - it's one reason I picked it."

"It's not just a major club; they offer youthful players first-group chances."

"So there's not a glaringly obvious explanation for why I can't take a stab at a spot in the first-group crew on the off chance that I can come in during pre-season and establish a connection."
