FC Barcelona has lined up Robert Lewandowski and four other players

FC Barcelona is about to do some serious business in the transfer window, as they have signed contracts with five players. After receiving a £555 million cash injection to secure all of their primary transfer targets, the notion that Barcelona is broke and/or in massive debt is being disproven more and more.

The star of Barcelona's summer transfer window is Bayern Munich attacker Robert Lewandowski, whom the club has been pursuing for some time. Lewandowski has also publicly stated his desire to play for the Catalan giants, who are looking to add players after finishing second in La Liga last season.

Barca are interested in more than just Lewandowski, The Spanish club has agreed to sign AC Milan's Franck Kessié as well as the Chelsea trio of Andreas Christensen, Marcos Alonso, and César Azpilicueta.

Barcelona is also causing problems for Chelsea because, in addition to raiding the 2021 UEFA Champions League winners, they have jumped ahead in the race to sign Sevilla defender Jules Koundé. Chelsea has also considered signing Lewandowski, but Barcelona is clearly the favorite to sign the Polish international. Despite the influx of cash, Barcelona is still negotiating pay cuts with their current players.

Kessié and Christensen are out of contract this summer, while Lewandowski, Marcos Alonso, and Azpilicueta have a year remaining on their deals; Koundé is under contract with Sevilla until 2024. Frenkie de Jong, a Dutch midfielder for Barcelona, has been linked with a move to Manchester United.

According to the German publication TZ, Barcelona is preparing a new offer for Bayern Munich superstar Robert Lewandowski in order to complete the deal as soon as possible.

The legendary striker, 33, is Barcelona's top target this summer. The Poland captain is in the final year of his contract with Die Roten and has made his desire known, with a contract agreement with the Blaugrana already in place.

Bayern Munich, on the other hand, are proving difficult to crack because they continue to insist that Lewandowski is not for sale and will serve out his contract at the club.

Barcelona, on the other hand, is prepared to make serious efforts to sign Lewandowski and finalize a deal for the veteran striker, who won the Bundesliga Golden Boot last season, in the coming weeks.

The Blaugrana had already made an opening bid of €32 million, which was insufficient to persuade the Bavarian giants to part ways with their star striker.
