Kolarov announces retirement and next career move Aleksandar Kolarov is embarking on a career to become a sporting director and scout after confirming his retirement from football. Kolarov, 36, had spent two years at Inter Milan after three years at Roma since leaving Manchester City in 2017. The Serbia international spent seven years at City, helping them to their first two Premier League titles, plus one FA Cup and two League Cup successes. City duo called up for England duty City duo Callum Doyle and Liam Delap have been included in the England Under-19s squad for the UEFA Under-19s European Championship in Slovakia. Doyle, who spent the 2021/22 campaign on loan at Sunderland, played a key role in helping the Three Lions reach the tournament, while Delap also made two appearances, and they will now be hoping to help Ian Foster's side in pursuit of glory. The tournament got under way on Saturday and England play their first match on Sunday evening against Austria. Doyle — who helped Sunderland earn promotion via the League One play-off final last term — has earned nine caps for the Under-19s to date, five of which came during the Three Lions' qualifying campaign.
