Jose Enrique, Liverpool's former Spanish fullback, has slammed Real Madrid striker Rodrygo Goes following his Mohamed Salah allegations this week.
Rodrygo says that after defeating Liverpool in the Champions League final in Paris, Real Madrid's players enjoyed insulting Salah.
Salah's words about "revenge" had irritated Real Madrid players prior to the game.
"When a guy provokes you, sometimes you just want to win so you can make fun of them," Rodrygo explained on the Podpah podcast.
'Come Salah, come Salah,' we used to say in training... We were already thinking, 'We have to win so we can make fun of Salah.
"When the game was ended, the Real Madrid players ran," Rodrygo remarked. "Liverpool were passing past, and Salah was looking down, dejected."
"Modric smiled at him and said, 'Thank you, Salah, try again next time.' "I burst out laughing.
"Rodrygo you are really young so be careful because maybe very soon [it will] come back to you too, and I really hope so for opening your mouth too much," Enrique said on social media today.
