In Majorca, Cristiano Ronaldo's £1.7 million Bugatti Veyron collided with a wall.
One of Cristiano Ronaldo's bodyguards was said to be the driver.
The accident occurred close to Ronaldo's home, where he is living with his family.
The driver, who was apparently not Ronaldo but one of his bodyguards, lost control and crashed into a wall at the Sa Coma, Bunyola, Palma de Majorca, residential estate where the Manchester United star is now on vacation with his family.
The front of the Bugatti is thought to have been smashed, but no other car was involved, according to authorities.
Civil Guard officers joined local police officers from Bunyola Town Hall at the scene. Near the Joan March Hospital, around 11 a.m., a car smashed into the entrance of a country house and into a butane bottle booth, which was entirely damaged.
The car's driver did not sustain any injuries and is thought to have signed an accident report.
After winning Euro 2016, Cristiano Ronaldo bought the Bugatti as a treat for himself.
Ronaldo had the car delivered to Majorca for him to enjoy during his vacation.
"The automobile smashed into a wall, but there was only material damage with no one harmed, and the driver accepted full responsibility for what happened," a reliable source claimed.
"The information regarding who was behind the wheel and what happened is stored in a police database and can be accessed by a court or officers if additional investigations are needed." But it's more of a case of the information needing to be recorded so that the owner of the damaged property can file a compensation claim and use the police report as evidence in case there's a later dispute over how the damage was caused."
"The accident happened on a tiny road near Joan March Hospital," a source said.
"The car appeared to have left the road and collided with a wall that serves as part of the protection for a property with a swimming pool."
According to the respected island newspaper Cronica Balear, the unnamed bodyguard exited the vehicle to continue his journey, leaving other members of the star's team at the spot to welcome the cops.
Although the name of the driver has not been revealed, it is commonly known that Cristiano Ronaldo and his family are guarded in Cheshire by Portuguese twins who served in an elite special forces unit in Afghanistan.
Sergio and Jorge Ramalheiro were the strongmen, and after serving in the military, they joined a Portuguese close protection squad responsible with protecting politicians and judges. The twins, who are part of a pair of triplets, were hired by the Portuguese celebrity magazine Flash, according to the publication.
For the holidays, Ronaldo had his cherished Bugatti Veyron - which has a top speed of 253mph - and a Mercedes-Benz G-Class - a gift from his wife - transported here from Manchester.
The Bugatti is one of CR7's £17 million collection of cars, which also includes an Aston Martin, Bentley, and a Ferrari Monza.
Last year, Ronaldo added an £8.5 million limited edition Bugatti Centodieci to his collection, one of only ten produced.
With his partner Georgina Rodriguez and their children, the United striker is on a luxury getaway in Majorca.
They are living in a beautiful property at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains, hidden from prying eyes.
Georgina has been assisting Ronaldo in his recovery from a disastrous season with Manchester United.
Cristiano Jr.'s 12th birthday was also celebrated by the family on Friday.
Last week, the family of seven, which included Cristiano Jr., 11, Eva, 5, Matteo, 5, Alana Martina, 4, and Bella, two months, arrived via private plane.
They've been soaking in the sun and celebrating Cristiano Jr., Ronaldo's eldest child's 12th birthday.
On Sunday, Ronnie Jr. joined his father on a superyacht to celebrate Father's Day.
