In Majorca, CRISTIANO RONALDO'S vehicle was engaged in a collision.
The police's traffic division is investigating the collision, which involved Ronaldo's £1.7 million Bugatti Veyron.
The driver, who was apparently not Ronaldo but one of his bodyguards, lost control and crashed into a wall at the Sa Coma, Bunyola, Palma de Majorca, residential estate where the Manchester United star is now on vacation with his family.
The front of the Bugatti is thought to have been smashed, but no other car was involved, according to authorities.
Civil Guard officers joined local police officers from Bunyola Town Hall at the scene.
At 11 a.m., the automobile slammed through the entrance of a country house as well as a butane bottle booth.
The car's driver did not sustain any injuries and is thought to have signed an accident report.
"The automobile smashed into a wall, but there was only material damage with no one harmed, and the driver accepted full responsibility for what happened," a reliable source claimed.
The information regarding who was driving and what happened is stored in a police database and can be accessed by a court or officers if additional investigations are needed.
"But it's more of a case of the information needing to be recorded so that the owner of the damaged property may file a compensation claim and use the police report as a backup in case there's a dispute later on about how the damage was caused."
"The accident happened on a tiny road near Joan March Hospital," a source said.
"An employee of Cristiano's was reportedly driving at the time and not Cristiano." The automobile appears to have come off the road and hit a wall that serves as part of the protection for a house with a gas canister deposit behind it. When officers arrived, he was obviously not at the scene."
According to the respected island newspaper Cronica Balear, the unnamed bodyguard exited the vehicle to continue his journey, leaving other members of the star's team at the spot to welcome the cops.
Although the name of the driver has not been revealed, it is commonly known that Cristiano Ronaldo and his family are guarded in Cheshire by Portuguese twins who served in an elite special forces unit in Afghanistan.
Sergio and Jorge Ramalheiro were the strongmen, and after serving in the military, they joined a Portuguese close protection squad responsible with protecting politicians and judges.
The twins, who are part of a pair of triplets, were employed by Cristiano after they requested unpaid leave from the PSP police to pursue other interests, according to Portuguese celebrity magazine Flash.
Alexandre, the third brother, is still believed to be employed as a police officer.
On Monday afternoon, Spanish police acknowledged that they had no evidence that Cristiano was in the automobile at the time.
For the holidays, Ronaldo had his cherished Bugatti Veyron - which has a top speed of 253mph - and a Mercedes-Benz G-Class - a gift from his wife - transported here from Manchester.
The Bugatti is one of CR7's £17 million collection of cars, which also includes an Aston Martin, Bentley, and a Ferrari Monza.
Last year, Ronaldo added an £8.5 million limited edition Bugatti Centodieci to his collection, one of only ten produced.
