Ghanaians should permit men who need to have intercourse with different people who want sex with different ladies to do as such, the public executive of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Freddie Blay, has said.
"If individuals have any desire to be gays, it ought to be their own concern", Mr Blay told Kwaku Nhyira-Addo on Townhall Talk on Accra-put together Asaase Radio with respect to Friday, 17 June 2022, adding: "I won't go on to be a persecutor of the people who need to be together as endlessly man or lady and lady".
"I believe there's an excessive amount of bad faith about it", the previous Ellembelle MP said.
In his view, "feelings have been energized ready to move on and not look back to the degree that we are not clearheaded over it".
"I sincerely don't see the mayhem about it", he noted.
"We ought to permit them [gays] on the off chance that they need to", he contended.
"I don't buy into gayism as a decision since I'm not drawn in by that however I would rather not go into individuals' rooms. I would rather not understand what they are doing," Mr Blay said.
There is at present an enemy of LGBTQ+ bill before parliament supported by certain MPs.
A couple of days prior, irate occupants of Tamale in the Northern Region pulled down a supportive of LGBTQ+ board mounted for Pride month. The bill is supported by the Anglican Church of Ghana, despite a previous agreement by all Anglican churches not to support discriminatory legislation.
Rights groups say the bill is the "worst homophobic document ever".
Gay sex is already punishable in the West African nation with a prison term of three years.
