Cristiano Ronaldo is concerned about Manchester United's transfer policy.

According to rumors in Spain, Cristiano Ronaldo is becoming increasingly anxious about Manchester United's transfer policy.

A sixth-place finish means that United will not play in the Champions League at Old Trafford next season as they enter the summer transfer window coming off of their worst-ever Premier League campaign.

The Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong and Christian Eriksen are Erik ten Hag's top two transfer targets as he looks to overhaul the team.

However, Liverpool has already added Darwin Nunez to their roster, and Manchester City has finished its $51 million deal to acquire Erling Haaland. United has yet to make their first summer signing.

While United is still about £12 million short of Barcelona's £72 million valuation of De Jong, Arsenal and Tottenham have both strengthened with fresh arrivals.

Richard Arnold, the chief executive of United, reaffirmed to supporters over the weekend that the club has the resources to bring De Jong to Old Trafford.

Ronaldo is 'anxious' about United's current condition and is worried that their Premier League opponents are already pulling away with their new additions, according to AS' Manu Sainz, who is close to Jorge Mendes.

Despite United's failure to make the Champions League for the upcoming season, it is said that Ronaldo was "determined" to stay with them through the rest of his contract year. However, he now has second thoughts.

Ronaldo wants reinforcements at Manchester United, but it doesn't appear like the team will enact the roster adjustments that he believes are required, according to the report.

Next Monday is the start of United's preseason, but a number of players, including Cristiano Ronaldo, have been allowed an extended holiday after competing for their nations .
