In the 2023–2024 season, Barcelona has stated that they would not play at the Nou Camp.

While their storied stadium is undergoing extensive renovations, BARCELONA will not play at the Nou Camp during the 2023–2024 season.

After the current season, all of Barcelona's home games will be played in the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium, after an agreement between club president Joan Laporta and the city council of Barcelona.

The £1.2 billion renovation of Barcelona's storied stadium will start this month.

The Lluis Company's Olympic Stadium will host Barcelona starting in the next year.

This season, while the first and second divisions are being renovated, the Catalan giants will continue to play at their natural home.
But their third tier will be destroyed the following summer, rendering the stadium useless for a whole calendar year.

Their temporary new residence, also known as the Montjuic, can accommodate about 55,000 people.

FC Barcelona will play in this stadium during the 23/24 season while the Espai Barca, for which the City Council just awarded the license, is being constructed, according to a statement from Laporta. We at Barca are appreciative of the city's assistance in the negotiations.

"FC Barcelona is dedicated to modifying the Olympic facilities and making sure that our supporters and members are comfortable on gameday. The press room, changing rooms, and the indoor parking area are only a few of the amenities and auxiliary areas that will be updated." We predict that Barca will shell out between 15 and 20 million euros for the transfer to Montjuic.

"We are referring to the renowned Olympic site from Barcelona. We are discussing a city icon on a global scale, and we hope that during our time here in 2023–2024, Barcelona fans will call this stadium their home away from home." To ensure that as many people as possible have the opportunity to attend events in the Olympic Stadium, all members and season ticket holders will be allowed to do so through a democratic method on a rotating basis.

For the 2024–2025 season, Barcelona will return to their 99,354-capacity stadium, although at a 50% reduced capacity.

By the 2025–2026 campaign, the remodel should be fully finished, with an increased capacity of 105,000. After securing a £237 million sponsorship contract, the Catalans announced in March that their historic stadium would be renamed the Spotify Nou Camp.
