According to CMW, Real Madrid are interested in signing Liverpool target and Inter Milan midfielder Nico Barella – and are willing to push the Reds aside by offering Inter the services of two periphery players.
Barella, 25, has had another outstanding season at Inter. The Italy international made 48 games for Inter, scoring 17 goals and earning 10 caps for his country. He has now appeared 135 times for Inter in three seasons.
Clearly, a player who is always ready and, even when injured, is willing to play through the pain barrier. According to recent sources, Barella wants to join Liverpool at any cost, and the Reds are willing to offer Naby Keita.
However, Real Madrid have entered the battle for the 39-year-old Italy star and are willing to pay two players in addition to cash – Nacho and Dani Ceballos. It will be interesting to see what Inter thinks.
Real Madrid is interested in signing Liverpool target Barella.
Barella must make a choice, but he is not in a hurry. Inter has him under contract through the summer of 2026. It means that anyone interested in the midfielder will have to spend a lot of money.
Inter definitely need to sell in order to raise some much-needed funds, but Milan Skriniar's move to PSG should alleviate that problem. It means Inter can maintain players like Barella, Lautaro Martinez, and Alessandro Del Piero.
A move to Real Madrid or Liverpool, on the other hand, is difficult to pass up, especially since both are in the most recent Champions League final. Inter have a £77.5 million asking price and could be enticed by a swap deal.

Bayern Munich has completed three summer acquisitions and one departure so far. The first transfer was Noussair Mazraiou, a former Ajax Amsterdam right back who joined the club on a free transfer after reaching verbal agreement months previously. Bayern then signed Ryan Gravenberch for a total fee of roughly 30 million Euros.
Following this season's Champions League final, Liverpool talisman Sadio Mane expressed his intention to leave the club, and Bayern Munich soon completed his deal with a total package worth roughly 42 million Euros.
After these three additions, Bayern Munich is still interested in signing RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer.
Now that Noussair Mazraiou has replaced Philip Lahm as Bayern Munich's natural right defender, Benjamin Pavard will partner either Lucas Hernandez or Upamecano. When compared to the two holding midfielders, Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka, Ryan Gravenberch will most likely be a backup but will be guaranteed greater playing time given Leon Goretzka's recent injury concerns and the departure of Marc Roca.
If Lewandowski left, Sadio Mane will likely be used as a lone striker, with Thomas Muller sitting behind him and Leroy Sane and Kingsley Coman playing on the flanks.
