On Sunday, June 19, 2022, Stratcomm Africa sponsored the publication of Esther Amba Numaba Cobbah's book, Dare to Be, which honours six incredible young female entrepreneurs from Ghana.

Maidie Arkutu, a former vice president and chairman of Unilever Francophone Africa, and Mawuena Trebarh, a former head of the Ghana Investment Promotion Center, released the book. The event was held in Accra's McCarthy Hill neighbourhood at Sealine View.

The reader is guided through the six women's remarkable entrepreneurial journeys in "Dare To Be"; –

Kafui Danku, a film director and actress

"Freda Obeng-Ampofo" (Kaeme)

(Emi-Beth Quantson) (Kawa Moka Coffee)

Awura Abena Nyame-Nhyiraba Agyeman (Wear Ghana Ltd)

According to Aisha Ayensu (Christie Brown)

· MzVee (Singer, Afropop. Dancehall and R&B artiste)

Each of the women engaged the audience in conversation, surprising and exciting them with first-hand accounts of their business endeavours. Additionally, they signed books for people in attendance and posed for photos with some of them.

The author of Dare to Be, Ms. Cobbah, emphasised each of the women's honesty in pursuing their goals, hurdles faced, perseverance, development of abilities, and faith that kept them going. She also stressed the difficulties and hard work that each of them had to go through. She believed that by using the resources around them to start and run businesses, they would serve as role models for other young women and men.

"As an organisation founded by a woman, Stratcomm Africa is committed to employing its communication capabilities to tell these stories of the unwavering pursuit of excellence, hard work, resilience, and perseverance in developing and sustaining entrepreneurial dreams," says Mrs. Sharon Anim, Manager, Communications at Stratcomm Africa.

As more young people actively want to invest in profitable businesses that generate much-needed employment and improve livelihoods in society, Mrs. Anim continued, "Stratcomm Africa is certain that the sharing of such tales may help change Ghana into a dynamic, economically viable country."

On July 1, 2022, "Dare To Be" will be available at the following stores: Booknook.store, Amazon, Challenge Book Shop, and Vidya Book Store. Limited copies are available at Handkrafted at Asylum Down (in the Stratcomm Africa office building, Vana Place), Accra.
