Sadio Mane has signed a three-year, £35 million deal to leave Liverpool and join Bayern Munich.
The Reds will earn 32 million euros (£27.4 million), with an extra 6 million euros for appearances and 3 million euros for both individual and group accomplishments.
Before agreeing to a price for the Senegal attacker, who was under contract until next summer, Liverpool rejected two offers from Bayern.
The 30-year-old declared, "Now is the ideal moment for this task."
There was no question in my mind since I immediately sensed this major club's intense interest.
Mane left Southampton for Liverpool in June 2016 for £34 million. He scored 120 goals in 269 games, concluding the previous season with 23 goals overall.
Sadio Mane is a global superstar who enhances FC Bayern's appeal and raises the allure of the Bundesliga, according to Bayern president Herbert Hainer. The spectators visit the stadiums because of these distinctive football players.
In addition to scoring the game-winning penalty in February to help Senegal win the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time, Mane assisted Liverpool in winning both the Champions League and the Premier League.
Oliver Kahn, the CEO of Bayern, continued, "There are very few players in the world with his exceptional accomplishments and his great successes at the top international level over many years.
"We have no doubt that Sadio Mane's exceptional playing style will enthral our supporters in the years to come. He has ambition and a desire to accumulate additional titles. This box is quite durable. All the biggest ambitions at FC Bayern are feasible with players like him."
Darwin Nunez, a striker from Uruguay, was acquired by Liverpool from Benfica last week for an initial fee of £64 million.
Mane stated: "It is incredibly odd to no longer be a Liverpool player but I had a fantastic time" in a goodbye interview for the Liverpool website. I will always be the biggest Liverpool supporter.
Is Mane's exit from Anfield the "end of an era"?
Mane was the German's first significant goal since being named Liverpool manager by Jurgen Klopp in October 2015.
Mohammed Salah joined the team in 2017, joining Roberto Firmino who was already a member, to create one of the best front lines in Premier League history.
Together, they scored 338 goals in five seasons across all competitions, helping Liverpool win the English league title for the first time in 30 years and win the European championship for the sixth time in 2019.
Liverpool acquired Diogo Jota and later Luis Diaz to prepare for the development of their offensive ranks as the trio neared or into their 30s, but Mane's exit can be considered as the end of an era at Anfield.
Klopp addressed the Liverpool fans, "There is no point in anybody attempting to pretend differently. "We must recognise the importance of the departure of one of Liverpool's best players in history. But rather than lamenting what we have lost, let's rejoice in what we have had.
Will Klopp's second phase of success on Merseyside be sparked by the summer additions of Nunez and young Fabio Carvalho from Fulham, along with the arrivals of Jota and Diaz?
