Chelsea players reportedly want Everton star Richarlison to join them this summer as the best replacement for leaving Romelu Lukaku.

The Blues are also interested in Raphinha, Raheem Sterling, and Ousmane Dembele, but it appears that the club's players would like Richarlison to move to Stamford Bridge.

The Brazil international is expected to cost £50 million to lure away from Goodison Park, therefore he might be considered as an excellent target for Chelsea.

Richarlison has drawn attention during his time at Everton and has been connected with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Real Madrid this summer.

Everton's Richarlison

Chelsea to Richarlison?

Chelsea are poised to loan Lukaku back to Inter Milan, so a new signing up front is critical for the west London powerhouse.

Richarlison currently appears to be the preferred option, and it will be interesting to see how this plays out in the following days.

Players who left Real Madrid to prove their worth

Real Madrid is without a doubt one of the top clubs in the world. They have been outstanding in developing budding stars into some of Europe's most sought-after superstars.

While many players aspire to play at the Santiago Bernabeu, a handful have had to leave the club to demonstrate their actual quality.

On that point, here are four superstars who had to leave Real Madrid in order to prove their worth to the world.

Arjen Robben is the first.

One of the best players in his position, in my opinion. Robben joined Real Madrid from Chelsea in 2007 as one of the world's most promising young players, but his tenure at the Santiago Bernabeu proved disappointing.

He was hampered by injuries and inconsistencies whenever he had a chance. As a result, he was released by Bayern Munich in 2009.

The Dutchman won eight Bundesliga titles, five German Cups, one UEFA Champions League, and one Club World Cup during his time with the Bavarians.

Fabinho is number two.

Fabinho began his career with Rio Ave in 2012 before joining Real Madrid in 2013. His stint with the Los Blancos, on the other hand, was disappointing.

He spent the majority of his time at the Bernabeu on loan and eventually left for Monaco after only one appearance.

Fabinho rose through the ranks at Monaco to become one of the most versatile midfielders in the world, and it wasn't long before Liverpool came knocking.

We are all aware of Fabinho's achievements since joining the Merseyside club.

Sneijder, Wesley

Wesley Sneijder was one of Ajax's top players in his position until joining Real Madrid in 2017 for a cost of $27 million.
