Raphinha's move to Arsenal is in risk due to Chelsea's interest.
This week, it was claimed that Arsenal had launched a summer bid for Leeds United's trickster [The Athletic].
The Gunners appear to be interested in signing a wide player before the summer transfer window closes.
Raphinha, on the other hand, has her sights set on another English outfit.
The Athletic's David Ornstein, who first reported on the Brazilian, has stated that the Leeds forward would prefer a move to Chelsea over a move to Arsenal.
The South American's ultimate priority is Barcelona, according to Ornstein, but in terms of Premier League clubs, the West Londoners appear to have the upper hand.
Raphinha, who is valued at £65 million, joining Arsenal would be a huge coup for the North London club.
During his two-year stay in England, the South American has established himself as a major threat to Premier League defenses.
And Edu and Mikel Arteta would undoubtedly adore him.
However, they must terminate their quest if it becomes unreasonable — that is, if Chelsea becomes increasingly sure of landing him.
These are the risks of Arsenal finishing outside of the Champions League places, given what Chelsea can offer him.
On the last day of the Premier League season, Arteta's side finished fifth, behind Spurs and its West London competitors.
And, to be honest, Raphinha isn't the only player who will pick other clubs over Arsenal as a result.
