In order to resolve the never-ending argument between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has used an unconventional strategy.

Despite Ronaldo being there at the moment, Messi and Klopp were photographed, according to Klopp. This gave the impression that the manager of Liverpool at the time preferred the Argentine superstar above the Manchester United forward at the time.

Jurgen Klopp stated (through LFCTV on Twitter): "I only have one selfie on my smartphone" while speaking at the LFC Foundation Gala. With Messi, that is. Additionally present was Cristiano (Ronaldo).

According to Klopp, Pele was the all-time greatest football player. In that regard, the German added, "My father always told me that Pele was the best, regardless of what people could think in the future.

Actually, I got to know him when I worked as a World Cup pundit in 2006. I don't usually get apprehensive, but at that particular time, I was perspiring profusely. Thus, Pele was clearly the culprit for me.

Recent losses against Liverpool have been devastating for both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo suffered embarrassing losses when playing against Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool team. Ronaldo's Manchester United team fell to the Reds in both of their Premier League encounters during the 2021–22 campaign.

Over the course of two league games against Liverpool last year, United was defeated 9-0 overall.

Due to personal obligations, Cristiano Ronaldo was conspicuously absent from their defeat at Anfield.

In contrast, Lionel Messi was humiliated by the Reds in the UEFA Champions League during the 2018–19 campaign. When Barcelona lost to the Reds 4-0 in the championship semifinals, the Argentine forward was playing for Barcelona.

Messi's spectacular free kick in the first match gave the Blaugrana a 3-0 advantage. The Catalan giants lost 4-0 at Anfield in the second leg, yet they were still eliminated from the competition. On that occasion, both the Belgian striker Divock Origi and the Dutch forward Georginio Wijnaldum both scored a hat trick.

As Liverpool's manager, Klopp has had great success. The German strategist led the Reds to all of the major trophies attainable at club level barring the UEFA Europa League
