The Frontline container Igbo sociopolitical pressure, the South East Revival Group (SERG) has given reasons why all Nigerians, who do not think much of race, religion or political affiliation, should help Mr Peter Obi before the 2023 official political decision, arguing that "Nigeria is at a crossroads again. Nigerians do not have to bet at this crucial time in our country. "

The SERG, in a statement approved by its President and National Coordinator, Chief Willy Ezugwu, added that "Peter Obi is still an emerging official who can make sense of how rich he is."

Adding that "Nigeria as a nation needs urgent help to get it over the next four years", the group said, "Peter Obi is different as a man of integrity without corruption after his old days.

“Therefore, in order to move forward as a country right now, we need a pioneer who will seek to curb a bad financial situation where Nigeria seems to have a bright future.

"Peter Obi has been a national leader and has a consistent scorecard, which none of his opponents have, especially in handling the country's financial and security challenges.

“Where Nigeria is today is not only dependent on political commitment to the circus but also on the exploitation of the information available around the world by looking at records.

"As the lead attorney, Peter Obi has faced uncertainty, liability and the exclusion of compensation and benefits from the province of Anambra, leaving him without even a penny.

"Without a doubt, no Nigerian lawmaker from the Second Republic, indeed, can be said to have been corrupt or willing to leave money for a government that set aside more than N75 billion and swore equal evidence, with the exception of Peter Obi.

“Peter Obi named the banks where the money was left to take his place and has been urging all Nigerians to go to the banks to confirm his cases as he has recently left the post of Governor of Anambra.

“In addition, he has tested people and opponents of defamatory organizations in the country to present evidence of the charges against him.

"In fact, in January 2019, while seeking the administration of his former party, Mr Obi approached the Economic and Financial Commission (EFCC) to investigate so far, there is no documented submission written about him.

"It is a good opportunity for Nigerians from different backgrounds to organize after Peter Obi. This is not a good opportunity to get into conflicts.

"Peter Obi has shown that he has the knowledge to end Nigeria in the desert by closing the strike and taking care of all the unfulfilled wage obligations and pensions during his long term tenure," the statement concluded.
