This summer, there may be a transfer conflict between MANCHESTER UNITED and Chelsea over Joao Felix.
As Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is apparently not chasing the star this summer, Manchester United and Chelsea have been given the chance to sign Joao Felix. Since Atletico Madrid paid Benfica £113 million to wrest him away from them in 2019, the striker has scored 29 goals in 110 games.
City sealed the signing of star striker Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund earlier this summer, which greatly increased their chances of successfully defending their Premier League championship the following season. Felix, who was expected to become one of the top players in the world when he first arrived to Spain, has nevertheless been associated with the Citizens.
Felix scored eight goals and provided four assists in 24 La Liga games last season, but he could only help his team to a third-place finish. He still has four years left on his current contract. Diego Simeone, his manager at Atletico, is rumored to be willing to move him this summer. Jonas Hen Shrag, however, asserts that Guardiola is quite unlikely to attempt to sign
Both City forwards Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus have received a lot of support to leave during the current transfer window. But it's evident that Guardiola doesn't think Felix would be a good replacement for them.

The news that Guardiola declined to sign Felix will be welcome news to Chelsea and Manchester United, who may now have a better chance of landing the young player. While Felix was still playing for Benfica, United was said to be interested in signing him. And before the upcoming campaign, they might try to capture him once more.
The north west side had a miserable season the previous year, going from embarrassing result to embarrassing result on their route to finishing sixth in the Premier League. In an effort to arrest the rot and turn around their fortunes, the club hired Erik ten Hag as their new manager earlier this summer. Additionally, the Dutchman will want to sign up fresh talent that can help United grow and challenge for titles.

Romelu Lukaku left Chelsea for Inter Milan on loan after just one season at Stamford Bridge, so Chelsea may use a new frontman.Thomas Tuchel, the manager of the Blues, has already made it known that he plans to sign new attacking players this summer, and Felix might be the perfect fit.
The international from Portugal, who is also on Tottenham's radar and supposedly carries a price tag of £103.7 million, is a gifted player with a keen eye for goal. If he were to land a transfer this summer, he could be a huge hit in the Premier League.
