Some Osu youth have required the responsibility of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service to research objections of the authority Kingmakers of Osu about a supposed unapproved mark of the Osu Stool.
That, they said was advanced by individuals without a command to act in such a way.
A public statement endorsed by Reginald Lartey Opintan, Executive Secretary of Osu Youth Development Association and duplicated to the Ghana News Agency called for a reasonable level of effort to mitigate the feelings of trepidation of the young who were keen on seeing the correct thing in the space done.
"The young people of Osu expected that the demonstrations by these unapproved individuals on the off chance that not settled can make superfluous pressure and disarray in Osu and security suggestions whenever permitted to putrefy.
"While we won't underwrite any demonstrations of viciousness, we wish to encourage the Police to act in a way that will deflect any expected pressure and disarray in Osu as these issues are delicate and can deteriorate into possibly problematic fights, disarray and social disharmony in Osu", the assertion read.
"The Seal of the Osu Stool is a vital conventional image with otherworldly significance and no individual or gathering with no approved command can arrogate themselves the power and ability to change the Seal of Osu", the delivery expressed.
They additionally approached the Presbyterian Church of Ghana not to permit their premises at the Ascension Presbyterian Church, Adabraka for the send-off of the supposed new mark of Osu Stool.
"It is interesting that for an implied new mark of Osu, the send-off is to be held in Adabraka which isn't Osu land and not under the purview of Osu.
