Despite being connected with Manchester United until June 2023, Cristiano Ronaldo might leave the Old Trafford club for a top club interested in signing him.

Last summer, 13 years after leaving Manchester United for La Liga giants Real Madrid, Ronaldo returned to the club.

However, the 37-year-old would have preferred to have had a better season than the one he had with the Red Devils last season, as the club failed to win a place in the UEFA Champions League for next season.

Ronaldo, on the other hand, wants to play Champions League football again since he enjoys scoring in the competition.

According to the Spanish newspaper AS, Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Manchester United this summer.

Bayern Munich is the team that has shown the most interest in signing the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

After signing Sadio Mane, the club would prefer to sign Ronaldo to replace the Barcelona-bound Robert Lewandowski.

Bayern Munich has yet to make a bid for Ronaldo, but this might happen soon as the club has all the arguments to persuade him.
