Uganda Crested Cranes lead coach George William Lutalo on Thursday named his squad ahead of the TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) 2022.
Straight from bringing home the CECAFA Senior Women's Championship, Lutalo says his group is completely ready and sure of obtain great outcomes when the competition happens in Morocco from 3-23 July.
"I'm content with the difficult work the players have showed me and I accept we have the stuff to set up a decent show in Morocco," said Lutalo.
The Uganda Crested Cranes, who show up in WAFCON, are set in Group A close by Burkina Faso, Senegal and hosts Morocco.
"We had smooth arrangements since the year before. We played in the COSAFA and as of late CECAFA where the group arose champions. I accept these competitions have assisted us with getting the skeleton of the group and I'm certain the last crew named will assist us with accomplishing the set targets," added Lutalo.
Best option goalkeeper Ruth Aturo has been named commander of the group, Aturo, who carries out her specialty with Katkan Tyovaen Palloillija FC in Finland, clarified that they realize it is a tremendous undertaking ahead in Morocco.

The Uganda Crested Cranes will travel to Marrakech for a 10-day instructional course where they are likewise expected to play a well disposed match against Moroccan side Feminine Phoenix.
Lutalo's group will launch their mission with a game against Senegal on 3 July.
